The ultimate breakfast comfort food. Pair Grandma’s easy sausage gravy on top of some homemade buttermilk biscuits and you’ll have an instant family favorite.

THE BISCUITS

Homemade biscuits are so easy and quick to make yourself.
Crunchy on the outside, soft and flakey on the inside.
A ‘quickbread’ that can be done in under an hour with no rise time and some simple ingredients. A real treat for the family… any time of the day.

Homemade biscuits can seem intimidating, however once you’ve done it, its really pretty simple.

Try these:

  • Homemade
    Buttermilk Biscuits
  • Or a ready-made drop biscuit mix:
    Cheese & Herb Biscuits

THE GRAVY

This sausage gravy recipe comes together quickly, making this biscuits and gravy recipe a 30 minute meal.

I used italian sausage but this can easily be swapped with ground pork or spicy sausage.

It may seem thin once the gravy all comes together, but it thickens once it cools.
