Cranberry Orange Bread
This moist and delicious Cranberry Orange bread is filled with tart cranberries, orange zest, orange juice and topped with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup oil or melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons orange zest
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups chopped fresh cranberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- orange juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl whisk together egg, oil, orange juice and orange zest.
- Add dry ingredients and use a spatula to bring it all together.
- Fold in chopped cranberries.
- In a greased loaf pan, add batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10-15 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and orange juice until desired consistency is reached. Pour on bread and enjoy!
