An added benefit to this Italian sub is that it’s made in minutes. In the amount of time it takes the bread to toast and melt the cheese in the air fryer or under the broiler, you can make the salad dressing and be ready to eat.
Ingredients for this Party Sized Italian Club:
Salad Dressing
Mayo
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
Salt
Oregano
Sandwich
Loaf of choice - I found this oversized loaf on the clearance rack at Walmart!
Butter
Lettuce
Ham
Salami
Thick cut pepperoni
Pepperocini
Mustard
Mayo
Pepperjack cheese
Sharp cheddar cheese
Start by toasting the bread. Once complete smother on your mayo and mustard and pile with cheese. Then throw back in the air fryer or broiler to get some gooey and melty cheese.
While you are waiting for the cheese to melt, make sure to put your salad together. Finally, layer the meats, add pepperocini, and finish with the salad. Remember, the salad and dressing do not keep, so assemble right at the time of serving.
Cut this Italian club sandwich into desired slices and serve immediately.
